We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures are uniquely breathed by God, serving as the final, unchanging rule of faith and practice. Through them, God definitively reveals His character, His perfect plan for salvation, and His sovereign will for all of humanity.
We also believe that God's creative and communicative work is living and active today.
While the biblical canon is complete, the Holy Spirit has never stopped moving, speaking, or executing His grand design. God did not cease His creative work on the seventh day of creation; rather, He entered into a relationship where He continues to create every day through us. By the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord actively writes His truth onto human hearts, inspires expression, and works through His people to bring forth new life, beauty, and renewal in the world.
We believe in the Deity of Jesus, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His death and resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven. We believe that while the Living God is present among us, there will also be a day where Jesus literally returns in power and glory.
We believe that salvation is a gift of total grace, received solely through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
We receive salvation when:
No amount of human effort, good works, or personal merit can earn salvation. It is entirely the sovereign work of God, leaving no room for human boasting.
Yet good works and a sincere desire to serve humanity are natural fruits of salvation. While they don’t save us, they flow inevitably from a heart transformed by Christ and are actively present in the lives of those who have been redeemed. We perform good works not to be saved, but because we are saved.
We further believe that human beings are entirely incapable of saving themselves. Apart from the power of the Holy Spirit, we cannot even possess the faith required to declare that Jesus is Lord. From the initial conviction of sin to the final confession of faith, every part of our salvation is a gift from God. Nothing is our own.
We believe in the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity who is actively moving within us and among us.
We believe the Holy Spirit is at work before, at, and after the moment of salvation.
We believe that sanctification is a process of yielding to God’s power through obedience. We don’t change ourselves. Rather, as we take small steps of obedience, the Holy Spirit systematically takes over our lives and replaces our old nature with His fruit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit acts as a graceful filter for our imperfect lives.
Regardless of what we believe or how much we mature, our works and our attempts at redemption are always filthy rags. Even our best deeds carry hidden unholy motives and selfish desires that we are often blind to. Gracefully, the Holy Spirit blinds us to our own deep imperfections, filtering our flawed actions and purifies our motives through the finished works of Jesus so they become Holy, pleasing, and acceptable to our Father in Heaven.
We believe that humanity was created by God in His own image and likeness. Human beings were designed to reflect God's character, enjoy His fellowship, and carry out His purpose on earth. Because we are made in His image, every human life possesses inherent dignity, worth, and value.
We believe that sin has universally corrupted human nature and that all have fallen short of God's perfect standard, separating us from the Lord. Through the original rebellion of mankind, sin entered the world. As a result, every person is born with a fallen nature, prone to rebellion, and spiritually dead in their trespasses. Humanity faces the just penalty of spiritual and eternal death. This sin creates a barrier between a Holy God and humanity, making it impossible for individuals to bridge the gap or save themselves through their own efforts.
We believe this doesn’t mean we’re inherently evil, but that our flesh is naturally prone to desire sinful things through the fall of man. Left to ourselves, we would typically indulge in these desires, but for the Holy Spirit. It is only by His grace and restraining power that we are drawn away from sin and toward righteousness. Sin is a condition of utter helplessness and is why salvation is completely necessary. Without a Saviour to free us from the slavery of sin, humanity remains hopelessly lost, condemned, and separated from God forever. Therefore, we believe that every person stands in desperate need of divine redemption.
We believe that the local church is central to discipleship, accountability, worship, and spiritual growth. As an itinerant ministry, we remain connected to local church bodies as the Holy Spirit leads, and don’t operate in a spirit of rebellious independence or self-appointed isolation. We are deeply committed to partnering with, honouring, and submitting to the authority of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We believe that remaining in active Christian community with other genuine believers who yield to the Holy Spirit is integral to sharpening iron with iron and maintaining spiritual health.
We recognize that a Christian community of believers looks different for everyone. While there is inherent value in traditional church settings, many find their spiritual family in home churches, or among a group of strong believers they meet with regularly for Bible study and edification, whereas others find this vital connection within online communities. Regardless of where this fellowship is found, there is intrinsic value in being around believers who know their authority in Christ and actively come against the enemy within their lives, helping to bring deliverance, strength, and encouragement to one another.
We recognize that the Body of Christ is not confined to any single church, denomination, or community. It comprises the entire global network of believers across the earth. We believe the global Church must unite on one foundational truth: that a verbal declaration of Jesus’ Lordship, paired with a heart belief that God raised Him from the dead, results in immediate salvation.
Unity within the body doesn’t demand immediate uniformity in every step of the spiritual journey. Once a person is secured in salvation, we trust that God is actively working within their heart, mind, and life. He is faithful to personally dismantle deception, shield them from the attacks of the enemy, and draw them step-by-step into His perfect and pleasing will for their life.
We believe that water baptism is a vital, public declaration of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ, mirroring His death, burial, and resurrection. We believe that the ultimate expression of this ordinance is found in baptism by immersion.
There is immense spiritual power in a conscious, intentional decision to be publicly submerged in water while declaring that Jesus is the Lord of your life. This act serves as a definitive public proclamation that an individual has chosen to die to their old life and walk in the newness of Christ. Therefore, a public declaration through baptism by immersion remains vital for those walking in faith.
We believe that practices like infant baptism are acceptable, though we view them as symbolic or acts of parental dedication. While we respect the tradition of infant baptism, we understand it as an expression of a family's desire to dedicate a child to the Lord. It does not replace the individual’s need for a conscious, personal choice to follow Jesus and declare that faith publicly on their own.
We believe that the Christian journey involves continuous seasons of sanctification and renewal. As the Holy Spirit works in a believer's life, there may be profound moments of spiritual awakening where an individual desires to publicly re-dedicate themselves to the Lord. We fully embrace the reality that a person may feel led to experience a second or third submersion or a ritual washing in water. While these subsequent events are powerful markers of re-dedication and spiritual washing, they are viewed as an ongoing part of a believer's sanctification journey following their foundational baptism of public confession, aren’t required, and don’t need to be done ceremoniously.
We believe that Holy Communion is a sacred act of worship and remembrance, established by Jesus Christ. It is an open table, available to anyone at any time who desires to come into fellowship and communion with the Lord. We affirm that any believer who declares the Lordship of Jesus Christ over their life possesses the authority to administer or receive the elements.
Communion may be observed as frequently or as infrequently as an individual is led. There is no rigid requirement for how often it must be taken. We particularly recognize that for those who have adopted a lifestyle of praying without ceasing, their entire life functions as a state of constant communion with Him. Physical partaking serves as an outward extension of this continuous internal fellowship.
In preparation for Communion, we strongly encourage believers to reflect prayerfully on their personal condition. If during this self-examination you remember a conflict or quarrel with another person, we exhort you to make a genuine effort to reconcile and make things right with them. Once you have released the matter to the Lord, joyfully partake in the elements and celebrate your union with Him.
We believe in the dual reality of Christ’s presence and His future return. First, we recognize there is an inherent, immediate return of Christ in that He is actively revealed, present, and living among us (within us) right now. Through the Holy Spirit and a lifestyle of prayer without ceasing, Jesus is continually revealed within and through every created being and thing.
However, His current spiritual presence through us and around us doesn’t negate His literal, physical return at the climax of history. We believe that at some point, He will visibly return, and we will rise up to meet Him in the air, not to escape the earth, but to usher Him back down to establish the New Jerusalem and the New Earth.
Because our calling is to occupy and stand firm until He comes, we believe that pre-tribulation rapture doctrine can be harmful to the preparedness of the Church. Framing the end times around an immediate escape rather than divine preservation and endurance leaves believers unequipped for hardship. We believe this escapist mindset can inadvertently weaken the Body of Christ, potentially leading to a greater falling away when trials come. Our focus is not on fleeing the world, but on receiving the supernatural strength given by the Lord to endure, overcome, and manifest His kingdom until His literal return.
We believe that human existence extends beyond physical death into an eternal reality, and that every soul will ultimately reside in one of two final places. The first is Heaven, a realm of eternal life, immense joy, and perfect peace spent in the direct, unhindered presence of God on the New Earth. The second is the Lake of Fire, a final destination of eternal separation from God’s presence, reserved for the enemy, demons, and those who reject the Lordship of Christ.
While we acknowledge these two final paths, we remain profoundly hopeful and trusting that God's grace, revealed through Jesus, extends far beyond human comprehension. We believe there will be many more people in Heaven than most religious frameworks believe. This includes individuals who were so hardened by severe trauma and suffering that they found it difficult to trust or believe during their life, those who finally find Christ on their deathbed, and those who cry out to God in moments of tragic casualty events as they die.
